Standup Wireless is a regional Lifeline assistance phone operator that provides free government cell phones and 100 free monthly cell phone minutes and text messages. Currently, Standup Wireless offers free cell phones and service in Arkansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, and West Virginia.
Standup Wireless offers one cell phone plan in all four states that they provide service in. All users receive free of charge 100 monthly cell phone rollover minutes and 100 text messages. Unused minutes rollover and accumulate from month to month.
Customer who require additional minutes can take advantage of Standup Wireless’ reasonably valued optional Premium Lifeline Service. For $14.95 + tax a month users receive 500 free cell phone minutes and 500 free text messages. For $29.95 + tax a month users receive unlimited minutes and 1,000 text messages. Unused minutes in Standup Wireless’ Premium Lifeline Service do not roll over. In addition, customers can receive 100 free bonus minutes for referring a friend.
Standup Wireless Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify for Standup Wireless service if your participate in a public assistance program, such Federal Public Housing Assistance/Section 8, Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Food Stamps, Home Energy, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), or The National School Lunch Program’s Free Lunch Program.
